EU Climate Policy Roadshow – Georgian National Workshop

This event was the second of seven national workshops in our EU Climate Policy Roadshow series, looking at EU policy, legislation and approaches to climate change issues of particular relevance to our partners in the host country.
With contributions from specialists from the European Union and Georgia, discussions at the event in Tbilisi included:
- EU climate policy until 2020 as well the 2030 Framework and the 2050 Roadmap
- the EU Strategy on Adaptation to Climate Change
- issues relating to LULUCF (Land Use, Land Use Change and Forestry sector)
- low carbon technologies, and energy efficiency and renewable energy policy in the perspective of climate change action
